With this assignment we put a picture into photoshop and added a gradient and water color brush effect to it. Once I learned how to do this I actually enjoyed how it turned out.

This was an extra credit assignment. We took pictures of each other holding a picture frame. Then, we put the pictures in photoshop and make it a continuous/endless picture.
For this project we learned how to add words to a black and white portrait to make a typography photo. I enjoyed this project and think the final project looks actually pretty cool. I am happy with how it looks.
We were to pick a controversial/informative topic and take pictures to represent/tell a story about that topic. I decided to pick deforestation so I took pictures of some trees and logs that have been cut down. After taking the pictures, we put them into photoshop and edited them so they kind of all fit together. Lastly, we were told to post the collage that we had created onto our website along with a paragraph about the controversial topic that we had picked. Deforestation Deforestation is the mass clearing/destruction of large areas of trees for agriculture, construction, and other purposes. The reason deforestation is such a big topic is because trees are extremely vital parts of our world/society. They are important for many reasons, for example; trees provide us with oxygen that we need to survive. Through the process of photosynthesis, trees take in the carbon dioxide that we omit and, in return, produce oxygen for us. Trees also help stabilize the soil and give products, shelter, etc. to wildlife. Unfortunately, we constantly have large areas of trees being destroyed for agriculture and construction purposes and I don't think that the people responsible for this, understand how important trees are. I hope that, in the future, we think twice about cutting down so many trees or plant just as many trees as we get rid of.
We took pictures of water droplets, cropped them in photoshop, and added a couple actions to them. Also, for extra credit, we could make a kaleidoscope out of the pictures we took.
This was and extra credit assignment to make three different pictures look like kaleidoscopes. I really liked how they turned out and I was tempted to make even more. Here are the three that I created.
All of these pictures are from the four days I was in Washington D.C. each one is supposed to represent the feelings I had that day and the things that we did. My favorite one is from day three when we got to see the Gettysburg Battle Field. Day One - Plane and Mall of America Day Two - Arlington National Cemetery Day Three - Gettysburg Battle Field tour Day Four - Tour the Capitol and Meet Joni Ernst Day Five - Smithsonian Museums
We took pictures of ten different objects and put them into photoshop. We added another picture on top of it and made it look like it was an abstract object.
For this assignment we learned how to use f-stop and shutter speed on our cameras. We had to take three different picture that stop motion and three different pictures that show motion. Fast Shutter Speed
Take pictures of 15 things out of the 45 topics she gave us. Then put a picture of a person or animal into photoshop and add a background to make a double exposure photograph. Do this to a total of three photos and post them to your website.
